Greetings fellow Whitehackers!
Greetings fellow Whitehackers!
It's March 29th and the last weekend of Google+ as the home of our awesome community. I would like to say a big thank you to all of our 443 members for making such wonderful contributions to our favourite Fantasy RPG. Looking back though all the posts you quickly realise what a fantastic job Christian has done with Whitehack. The system is near perfect, but remains very hackable and easily adaptable to the plethora of published settings and adventures out there.
So... where to now? Well as you may already know, we have a dedicated subreddit located at http://reddit.com/r/Whitehack. If you would like to continue participating, please join us there. All current content will will be available at https://whitehackrpg.blogspot.com/ so we don't loose all of our valueable content. I will attempt to import the data into Reddit at some point, I'll post about this on r/Whitehack.
Regarding the content we have accrued over the last few years, I'm planning to go through all of it and add the content to the r/Whitehack wiki. It would be great to have an easy reference to the contributions everyone has made. Make sure you visit r/Whitehack occassionally to keep up with the updates.
Finally I would really like to thank Christian Mehrstam for doing such awesome work with Whitehack and supporting this community!
See you all on r/Whitehack!
Cheers,
-Jacques

I'm the one who should be grateful here, and I very much am. This community is a great joy to me. I love seeing questions, pics, play reports, discussions etc., and I also love it that it happens without my interference. I understand how much work you all put into it---starting, hosting and preserving the community, answering questions from beginners, making game aids, hosting those game aids, spreading the word about the game, running the game in game stores and at conventions, presenting it at art exhibitions, blogging about it, reviewing it, making videos about it, making art and showing it to others etc. etc. I'm just one guy with too little time, and without talent for any of those things. Whitehack would be nothing without you guys!
ReplyDeleteSo Jacques and everyone else: Thank you so much for everything that you've done and are doing! This weekend I shall send out an announcement about Suldokar's Wake (my upcoming game), and then I'll create a reddit account. See you soon!
Yup, thanks and good bye, I guess. Don't really use reddit.
