One thing that really surprised me about WH2 was 1 GP = 1 XP. Yes, it's old school but so much of the game isn't.
For one thing, the rules don't really examine how to get rid of cash that must be accumulated. There is training but that's hardly going to make a dent in the vast reserves of cash the characters are forced to amass. There's no treatment of castles and whatnot that could feasibly slaughter the cash cow.
I'm curious to know, of those referees that have taken their players beyond 3rd or 4th level, do you use the experience rules as written and if so, what do you do with the characters' treasury.
Thanks
Mike
