Some Whitehack questions that i'm wrangling with and hope the community has some solutions that fail me...

1. It wasn't until the second read through that it dawned on me that there weren't stat negatives for low scores. do you ever adjust for that or is the roll under its own punishment?

2. How do you handle miracle costs in fiction for non-magic use, eg. if it's in the guise of technology?

3. also re magic, how do you handle miracle costs at very low levels where even heavily nerfed costs begin to drive the character into the ground? has anyone experimented with "over-casting" and allowing characters to cast beyond the possible zero point with additional consequences (taint etc.)?

4. the book says that "powerful" magic requires a save: is there a threshold for this or is it just a ref call?

5. DC values. Have any of you experimented with giving skill checks an opposed metric a la DC values rather than it being a matter of skilled or untrained as modifiers?

Thanks all. Very smitten with Whitehack... trying to figure out how to run it.
