I'm looking for suggestions for a newbie-friendly one shot adventure!
I'll be visiting a few friends in the coming month and plan to run a single session for a bunch of newbies who have never played a pen+paper RPG before. I suspect we'll only play for 4-5 hours and I thought I'd spend a bit of time looking for something that has enough hooks and freedom to be fun but has pretty clear goals to move things along.
There will be no continuation so I'd like to run something other than the included campaigns (2e) though whatever I run I'll probably run it in the realm of the White Curse :)
Any ideas for something short and sweet that I can either convert or modify without too much trouble?
