Do you think it would upset anything if I used the weapons table from LotFP, instead of using the ones in the book?

Do you think it would upset anything if I used the weapons table from LotFP, instead of using the ones in the book? I'd rather use d4s, d8s etc than d6s with pluses and minuses.
